Iranian state television has aired an unusual and direct threat targeting US President Donald Trump’s family, broadcasting details about how his son Barron Trump could potentially be reached and announcing a $10 million (over Rs 95 crore) reward.

The video, released by IRGC-linked media and aired on Iran’s state-run Channel 3 under the title "Where to kill Barron Trump", reportedly tracks the 20-year-old’s movements and illustrates them on screen. It claimed Barron is "fully monitored" but alleged that a woman had managed to get past his Secret Service protection and once sat beside him during a private meeting.

According to the broadcast, Barron uses voice and text communication through Xbox when away from his security detail. The video further claimed that his accounts on Xbox, FIFA games and Discord had been identified.

Earlier Video Targeted US First Lady Melania Trump

The latest broadcast follows another Iranian state television video released last month that appeared to target US first lady Melania Trump. While the earlier clip initially focused on Melania, it ended by directly addressing her son with the warning, "This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us."

Titled "Where to Kill Melania", the earlier video featured footage of the first lady travelling in her motorcade and visiting various places in New York City. It also pointed out luxury designer stores that she reportedly frequents.

The broadcast suggested that such shopping visits could be "suitable for operations by global freedom fighters", while also proposing the use of a nerve agent to contaminate clothing she might purchase.

Trump Family Under Tight Security

Both Melania and Barron Trump are protected around the clock by the US Secret Service. Trump properties, including the White House, Trump Tower in New York, the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey and the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, also have extensive security measures, according to a New York Post report.

Trump Says Iran Is 'Collapsing' Amid Fresh US Pressure

The latest Iranian broadcast comes amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran. On Monday, Trump claimed that Iran was "collapsing" as the US prepared to unveil details of a fresh economic pressure campaign, which Tehran has described as evidence of defeat.

Trump made the remarks on Truth Social shortly after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent wrote in the Financial Times that an "economic D-Day" had begun against Tehran. He also warned that countries continuing to support the Islamic Republic could face international isolation and become a "global pariah".

Iran rejected the US measures and responded defiantly, characterising them as an acknowledgment of military defeat while warning other countries against assisting Washington.
