Washington DC: A small plane crashed into a parked aircraft at an airport in United States' Montana while landing on Monday (local time). The crash triggered a massive fire. However, no major injuries were reported, said authorities, as reported by The Associated Press.
At the time of the collision, there were four people on board the plane. The plane attempted to land at around 2 pm at the Kalispell City Airport, as per Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio, the Federal Aviation Administration, reported AP.

The video of the crash also surfaced online. At the time of the crash, there were no passengers on the parked aircraft. Notably, the fire that erupted from the collision spread to the surrounding area.
After receiving the information, authorities rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The small airport is south of Kalispell. Notably, Kalispell is a city with a population of around 30,000 in northwest Montana.

As per Kalispell Fire Chief Jay Hagen, the pilot and three passengers onboard managed to get out of the ill-fated plane after it stopped. As per the AP report, two passengers received minor injuries.
Built in 2011, the plane was owned by Meter Sky LLC of Pullman, Washington, as per FAA records.
