Shooting In Washington DC Near Prominent Transport Hub, Police Blame 'Known Parties' For Incident
Those injured in the shooting have received medical treatment. No names of suspect/s or injured victims were released by the police. The area has been cordoned off and detectives are conducting more investigation.

Four people were injured in a shooting that occurred on Friday night in Washington DC, said Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Those injured were taken to hospital. The shooting took place around 9 pm local time. Three men and one woman were injured.
Local media outlets said that all victims were "conscious and breathing".
The shooting took place in 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way Northeast. This location is just 500 feet away from from the NoMa-Gallaudet U New York Avenue Metro station.
Two of the injured victims made their way to a medical facility independently while the other two had to be taken to hospital by emergency medical service personnel.
Police told media that condition of the victim was stable.
MPD took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to give status of the situation.
In another post, MPD said that detectives were on the scene carrying out investigation.
The shooting took place near a prominent transit hub. The area typically see high activity. After the shooting however, police cordoned off the area to gather evidence and also to look for any witnesses.
The police said that prima facie, it looks like this shooting was a result of dispute between 'known parties'. No name were released immediately
