Bangladesh Tragedy: PM Modi Condoles Loss Of Lives In Dhaka Jet Crash, Offers Support & Assistance
The crashed plane was a Chinese-made F-7 aircraft belonging to the Bangladesh Air Force.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said he was "deeply shocked and saddened" by the loss of lives, many of them young students, in a tragic air crash in Dhaka earlier today.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, "Deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of lives, many of them young students, in a tragic air crash in Dhaka. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families. We pray for the swift recovery of those injured. India stands in solidarity with Bangladesh and is ready to extend all possible support and assistance."
According to reports, at least 19 people have been killed, and more than 100 others injured after a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) trainer aircraft crashed into the campus of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka on Monday, 21 July.
The crashed plane was a Chinese-made F-7 aircraft belonging to the Bangladesh Air Force.
Among the victims who lost their lives were 16 students, two teachers and the pilot of the aircraft.
It is feared that the death toll may rise as the condition of several of the injured is critical.
