8 Killed, 15 Injured In China Vegetable Market Fire - Videos
A massive fire erupted at a vegetable market in north China, killing at least eight people, on Saturday. According to reports 15 people were alo injured due to the blaze. The fire broke out at the Liguang market at around 8:40 am (local time).

A massive fire erupted at a vegetable market in north China, killing at least eight people, on Saturday. According to reports 15 people were alo injured due to the blaze. The fire broke out at the Liguang market at around 8:40 am (local time).
“The injured have been sent to hospital for treatment and are currently not in life-threatening danger," the Qiaoxi District People’s Government said as reported by News18. The market is located in Zhangjiakou city in northwest of Beijing.
Videos Of The Blaze Surfaced On Social Media:
In the video massive flames could be seen billowing out of the area. An envelope of black smoke covered the entire area during which panic gripped among the people.
The cause of the blaze is not known yet. The amount of collateral damage is yet to be ascertained.
Injured were rushed to nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The fire was reportedly extinguished by the afternoon.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
