The video showed a jewellers staff holding the gold 'Parle G' biscuit in his hand. He showed both sides of the hollow gold item to viewers, leaving them impressed with its real biscuit-like design.
This gold biscuit's reel posted on Instagram in January but it continues to go viral even today. So far, the video has attracted more than four lakh likes and thousands of comments. Netizens reacted to the unusual gold biscuit design and called it "Wow". They referred to it as a "Premium version of Parle G".
One of the comments replaced the 'G' in Parle G from "Genius" to "Gold". Another read, "Bro took PARLE GOLD seriously". While the biscuit brand is known for its affordability, an Instagram user reacted to this expensive Parle G biscuit and wrote, "Mukesh Ambani khaenge kya yah biscuit".
Notably, Parle sells Parle G Gold at Rs. 10. A 75g pack of this biscuit is only worth Rs. 10, however, the real gold version created by the jewellers would cost much more higher (above Rs. 2 lakh).
