Punjab: Video Of 108-Year-Old Vegetable Vendor Selling Potatoes & Onions In Moga Goes Viral

A travel enthusiast named Mani shared that he met a 108-year-old man in Moga, Punjab. He pointed out that the elderly person wasn't resting at home or seated leisurely, instead he was working under the sun on the local streets. Mani stated that the Punjab man was a vegetable seller while uploading a video of him sitting next to his cart, which was filled with potatoes and onions.

In the video, he captured the vegetable vendor from the streets of Punjab on camera. The clip opened to show a white bearded man with a turban seated next to a vegetable cart. He was seen attracting buyers to his vegetable cart by loudly canvasing for the products he had.

He had loaded the cart with heaps of potatoes and onions. In his loud voice, he called out for people to buy the vegetables from him. The video recorded him saying, "Aalu... pyaaz...".

"Met an incredible soul today in Moga a 108-year-old street vendor still selling onions and potatoes with a smile", he wrote. "His life is a testament to resilience, hard work, and the power of staying grounded", he said further while reflecting on the man's life to be inspiring.

The reel creator also engaged in a quick chat with the centenarian. They two interacted in Punjabi, where the elderly vegetable seller mentioned his age without any hesitation.

Mani uploaded the video on Instagram on January 23 and it has already gone viral. So far, the video of this centenarian has received 3.14 lakh likes and a flood of comments. Netizens reacted to the reel and termed the man a "Legend" for working tirelessly even at such an elder age.
