One of the staff members and also popular on social media for his content from Antarctica, @legend.explorer, also known as Mohit Sharma, shared the video on his Instagram handle. The clip has already reached nearly 2 million views.

Preparations for Independence Day In Antarctica
The video shows men working to get rid of snow structures outside their station cabin. They dig in to set up the long flagpole in the snow with the help of tools and a big crane. An Indian tri-colour flag is also being flaunted on the walls of the cabin.

Recently, another video went viral on social media, which showed the Indian crew preparing their daily meals. The video showed one of the crew members, who posted the video, cooking the Rajasthani dessert, 'ghewar.' Netizens were simply amused by his skills and passion for cooking, even in the challenging conditions.
One of the videos also showed, arguably, the most loved meal across India, 'Puri-Bhaji', being made at the same kitchen in Antarctica's Indian station. The video showed hot and crispy-looking puris being made alongside mouthwatering Chole curry. One of the comments on the video read, "Antarctica mai mere ghar se zyaada acha khaana mil raha h."
