A group of four men ran out of an Indian restaurant in Northampton, England, without paying their bill of nearly 200 pounds on August 4. The restaurant, Saffron Northampton, took to its social media handle on Facebook to report the incident. It published CCTV footage which captured the men running out of the restaurant without paying the bill of their meals. The videos are being widely reshared on social media, yet there is no action from the local police.
In one of the viral videos, the group of men can be seen entering the restaurant. In another video, they can be seen sitting at a table; they cautiously wait for the waiter to go out of their sight. As soon as the waiter goes inside, they start running out of the restaurant, followed by the waiter trying to chase them down.

What Did The Restaurant Say?
The Saffron Northampton shared in a post on Facebook, "Warning to Local Businesses. Last night at approximately 10:15 PM, four young men entered our restaurant, enjoyed a full meal, and left without paying." The statement said that this type of theft affects hardworking small businesses.
The restaurant wrote that they have reported the incident to the police, and footage has been handed over. The statement reads, "We urge neighboring businesses to stay alert. If you recognise these individuals or have any information, please contact us directly or report it to the police. Help us hold these people accountable; there’s no place for this kind of behavior in our community. Name and shame. Let’s protect each other."
Northamptonshire Police said they are investigating the incident as a theft and urged anyone with information to contact them on 101.
