Uttar Pradesh: CM Yogi Adityanath To Launch 194 Development Projects Worth ₹706.81 Crore In Ambedkar Nagar On Friday

Lucknow/Ambedkar Nagar, August 6: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ambedkar Nagar district on Friday. He is scheduled to visit Govind Sahib, a renowned religious and spiritual tourism destination in Ramnagar Development Block of Alapur tehsil in eastern Uttar Pradesh. During the visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 194 development projects worth ₹706.81 crore across the Tanda, Alapur and Jalalpur Assembly constituencies.

The programme will give fresh momentum to key projects in roads, drinking water, electricity, tourism, public works and skill development across all three Assembly segments. These projects are expected to provide better roads, clean drinking water, improved power supply and new employment opportunities for local residents.

Of the total investment, ₹217.69 crore will be spent on 69 projects in Tanda, ₹312.18 crore on 75 projects in Alapur, and ₹176.93 crore on 50 projects in Jalalpur.

The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for 36 projects worth ₹145.98 crore and inaugurate 158 completed projects worth ₹560.83 crore.

The visit is expected to mark a new chapter in Ambedkar Nagar's development. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government has been accelerating development in backward and long-neglected regions. Completion of these projects in areas such as Tanda, Alapur and Jalalpur is expected to improve ease of living and stimulate economic activity. The programme will be attended by public representatives, government officials and a large number of local residents.

The Chief Minister will also address the public gathering and distribute sanction letters and certificates to eligible beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. Besides strengthening physical infrastructure, the visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to sectors such as skill development and tourism. There is considerable enthusiasm among local residents ahead of the Chief Minister's visit.

The Yogi government aims to ensure that the benefits of development reach every corner of the state. Through this programme, several public welfare initiatives, ranging from public works to skill development, will be launched simultaneously, taking Ambedkar Nagar further on the path of progress.

Link road from Ojhanagar Badi Pandauli Pitch Road to Kathwat Kol village; link road from NH-233 at km 162 via Kanakpur to Rustampur; Manjhariya Link Road. Chakmasena Harijan Basti Link Road and Badhaipur Khas Link Road. Rannupur Bagiya Khas Link Road and Samaisa Sonhu Link Road. Jaiti Harijan Basti Link Road, Gangasagar Khas Link Road, Nasirpur Chhitauna Harijan Basti Link Road, Kinnupur Harijan Basti Link Road and Jolahapur Harijan Basti Link Road, among others.

Projects to be inaugurated in the Tanda Assembly constituency

Construction of the Dihwa Link Road in Semra Nasirpur revenue village; construction of the Pandauriya Link Road in Lakhanpur revenue village; construction of the Khas Link Road in Wahid Patti revenue village; construction of the Purwa Link Road in Naurahni Rampur Bihari revenue village; construction of the Usra Bharauti Link Road in Bibipur revenue village, among others.

Preparations complete for the Chief Minister's visit; DM reviews arrangements

District Magistrate Isha Priya said, "All preparations for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's proposed visit have been completed. Continuous reviews have been conducted of all arrangements, including the venue, security, traffic management, drinking water, medical facilities, and other essential services. Responsibilities have been assigned to all departments, and officials have been instructed to remain vigilant. Our objective is to ensure that the programme is conducted successfully, safely, and in an orderly manner, while ensuring that the general public and beneficiaries do not face any inconvenience."
