Pixel 10 Series Latest Teaser Hints At High Optical Zoom, Ultra-Wide Camera Capabilities Ahead Of Official Launch

The latest Google Pixel 10 range teaser hints at camera capabities of the phone ahead of launch. The next-generation Pixel phones are all set to debut on August 20, and the teasers are now picking up pace. The latest one comes after the popular Apple jab teaser, wherein in mocked at the iPhone-maker's unfulfilled AI promises.

Google took to social media platform X to share a teaser about the Pixel 10 range. The video says 'What if your phone could do things other phones couldn't?' adding, 'What is your camera could get super super super close while being really really really far?' This hints at high telephoto shot-taking capabilities, meaning high optical zoom, and even higher digital zoom.

Furthermore, the teaser adds at ultra-wide-angle capabilities with a teaser that reads, "What if you could be in the group photo even if you snapped the group photo?" It also hints at AI capabilities with the line, "What if you asked more from your phone, and your phone answered?" The teaser ends with its tagline for Pixel 10 - 'ask more of your phone.'

This teaser hints at multiple camera capabilities and AI features on the Pixel 10 range. Earlier, Google released a cheeky teaser mocking Apple over its delay in upgrading Siri’s AI capabilities, and is advising Apple users to change their phone.

The company will release the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold smartphones, alongside the latest Pixel Watch on August 20. The event is slated to begin at 10.30pm IST. Google is hosting its event in New York this year. While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be unveiled at the event, its availability is pegged for October.
