WWE Smack Down Results: Cody Rhodes Makes John Cena Forcibly Sign Contract For SummerSlam After Attacking Undisputed Champion, Declares Street Fight As Stipulation

The latest episode of WWE Smack Down took place at the Frost Bank Centre in San Antonio, Texas. With WWE SummerSlam on the horizon, John Cena and Cody Rhodes were involved in a contract-signing segment ahead of their World Championship bout but it turned into a full-blown brawl.

The episode opened with the woman's division as Charlotte Flair and Raquel took on one another, with the former emerging victorious. Next up Damian Priest and Carmelo Hayes faced one another. Priest won the match by disqualification after Aleister Black interfered, knocking the former off the rope. With Hayes leaving the ring, Black hit the Black Mass on Priest, finishing the segment by saying, "I heard you’re looking for me."

The woman's division was yet again in action Stephanie Vaquer faced Alba Fyre. Vaquer won the bout after connecting with the SVB. The men's tag team division was next in action as Andrade & Rey Fenix, Fraxiom, DIY and Motorcity Machine Guns competed to become the No.1 Contender for the World Tag Team championship. Andrade and Fenix won after the former hit Tommaso Ciampa with DDT for the win.

John Cena announces he will not be at SummerSlam

Cody Rhodes was the first to make his make his way and signed the contract quickly and addressed the crowd as Cena's music followed.

The Undisputed Champion took a seat and asked Rhodes to do the same, thereby informing him that he will not be at SummerSlam to film a movie. As Cena goes to leave the ring, Rhodes chases him and the brawl erupts.

Cena got into the ring and tries to hit his Summer Slam opponent with the title but cops a blow with it instead. After putting Cena through the table with a frog splash, Rhodes got the Undisputed Champion to forcibly sign the contract.

He also announces that it will be a street fight.
