In the men's singles final Parth of NSCI resisted Neil Mulye's challenge to prevail 4-2 after a thrilling six-setter in the best of seven match. He had it easy in the first set but had to give it all in the second set to take 2-0 lead. Neil made a strong comeback to bag the third set without much sweat.
