'We Are The Champions': Vinod Kambli Sings His Way On Road To Recovery After Being Hospitalised; Video
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has shared a positive health update, two days after being admitted to a Thane hospital on Saturday night as his condition reportedly deteriorated.

Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has shared a positive health update, two days after being admitted to a Thane hospital on Saturday night as his condition reportedly deteriorated. The former left-handed batter revealed that he hopes to be discharged within a couple of days and is optimistic of coming back stronger.
As per IANS, Kambli had to be admitted at Akriti Hospital in Thane and was rushed there at Saturday night. According to the news agency, the 52-year-old had been stable but critical, causing to remain under doctor's strict observation. A recent video of Sachin Tendulkar also surfaced when he met Kambli during Ramakant Achrekar's funeral as the latter was looking in a delicate condition.
Meanwhile, Kambli was in good spirits and sang 'We are the champions' signalling that he feels a lot better.
"We are the champions, my friend. We will keep on fighting till the end. I will never leave cricket because I remember the number of centuries and double centuries I have hit."

With the former left-handed batter struggling with alcoholism for quite a few years, he vowed to seek professional help and revealed how his former teammates had also opted to help. He told Vickey Lalwani on YouTube:
"I’m ready to go for rehab. I want to go there because I don’t fear anything. My family is with me. Jadeja is a very good friend of mine. He came to meet me and said 'Come on, get up'. A lot of people have called me lately. Everyone saw me. Definitely, they [BCCI] will help. Abey Kuruvilla (former India pacer) is with BCCI, he is in touch with me, and he is also in touch with my wife."
Kambli made his debut in 1991 and has featured in 104 ODIs and 17 Tests.
