Team India skipper Rohit Sharma has garnered quite the fan following in recent times and it has increased tenfold since he won the T20 World Cup this year in the West Indies. On October 9 (Wednesday), a video surfaced on social media in which the 37-year-old was running away from the fans, who were seemingly trying to get pictures with him.
A few reports have stated that the right-handed opening batter had been went for practice at the Reliance Corporate Park (RCP) in Mumbai. As a result, a mob gathered, surrounding the star Indian cricketer to take selfies.

Meanwhile, the Nagpur-born cricketer will return to action for India during the three-Test series against New Zealand at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, beginning on October 16. The Men in Blue began their home season against Bangladesh, winning the series comprehensively against them 2-0.
The selectors are likely to retain the same squad that defeated Bangladesh as the hosts target a 3-0 sweep over the Black Caps. Rohit and co. are also at the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) table as they aim to play in the final for the third consecutive time.
India lost the first two finals to New Zealand and Australia and will be keen not to let the chance slip if they make it next year.
