Travis Head is known for his powerful batting, but in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Galle on February 6, he impressed with his bowling. The Aussie star took a wicket in his very first over, dismissing Kamindu Mendis. However, it wasn’t just the wicket that caught attention it was Head’s unique celebration that quickly went viral on social media.
The catch came in the 46th over of Sri Lanka’s first innings. On the last ball of his first over, Head bowled a short delivery outside off-stump. The extra bounce surprised Kamindu Mendis, who tried to cut the ball but edged it to Steve Smith in the slips.

Mendis was out for 13 runs off 12 balls, leaving Sri Lanka in trouble. This was their fourth wicket to fall, adding to their struggles in the second session.
