Team India Cricketer KL Rahul & His Wife Blessed With Baby Girl

Team India and Delhi Capitals' keeper-batter KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty have been blessed with a baby girl as the latter announced it via Instagram. Athiya took to her social media account and uploaded a picture in which it was written 'Blessed with a baby girl 24.03.2025, Athiya & Rahul.'

Rahul reportedly flew out of Vishakhapatnam to Mumbai ahead of the IPL 2025 game against the Lucknow Super Giants on Monday. The right-handed batter had also joined the squad late due to the same reason but was on track to play in the Capitals' opening game. However, it emerged only before the match that the Karnataka-born cricketer had chosen to be with his wife.

KL Rahul played an integral role in Team India's Champions Trophy win

The 32-year-old had been one of the wicketkeepers selected in Team India's squad for the Men in Blue's Champions Trophy squad that they played in the UAE. The keeper-batter started the tournament with a composed 41 to help Team India ace the run-chase against Bangladesh after a mini-collapse.

However, the keeper-batter played two of his most pivotal knocks against Australia in the semi-final and the final against New Zealand. With the Asian Giants chasing down well over 250 on both occasions, Rahul played big shots at the right time in both the matches to lift their side to victories.
