Suburban Premier Football League 2025: Satya Vijaya SC Records Fifth Successive Win

Satya Vijaya SC maintained their impressive winning form, recording their fifth consecutive win by defeating Kaushik FC by a narrow 2-1 margin in a Group B league match of the Suburban Premier Football League 2025, organised by the Games & Athletics Association and played at the St. Francis D’Assisi HS ground, Borivali.

Scoring once in each half, Satya Vijaya took the lead through Bikas Yadav’s strike in the fifth minute. Kaushik FC drew level when Shubham Gole found the back of the net in the 34th minute. Seasoned Keegan Pereira scored the winner in the 62nd minute to seal Satya Vijaya’s win. Vatsal Bhatia (Satya Vijaya) was adjudged Man of Match.

In another match of the same group, Charkop FC rallied to get the better of Vibrants FC by an identical 2-1 scoreline. Vibrants FC, against the run of play took the lead through Kunal Verma’s strike in the 14th minute. However, Charkop FC fought back and scored twice through Angela Misquita's 27th minute and Sai Prabhu's 41st minute goal to secure the win and the full three points. Naresh Oli (Charkop FC) was named Man of Match.

In Group-A league matches, Wings of Champions riding on Meet Rathod’s lone strike defeated Poojary FC 1-0 and later Shelar FC had things their way and blanked Maratha SC 2-0. Kshitij Hasam and Viraj Shelar were bang on target for the winning team.
