The 1st Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organized by Airoli Sports Association, began on 6th July at Airoli, and is set to run till 10th July. The tournament witnessed a thrilling start with intense matches across various age categories, showcasing the enthusiasm and growing talent in the state’s table tennis circuit.

In the opening round of matches, Raghav edged past Vardhaan in a close contest, finishing 3-2. Keshika also registered a 2-2 result against Aadya, while Soham displayed dominance with a 2-0 win over Zeus. In another commanding performance, Purab defeated Atharv 2-0.

Juned overcame Arya with a solid 2-1 win, and Sankalp comfortably defeated Soham 2-0. The final match of the day saw Divit (MCD) triumph over Sharvil (Thane) with a strong 2-0 victory.

The tournament continues over the next few days with more exciting fixtures lined up, as players aim to climb the Maharashtra state rankings and make a mark on the competitive scene. Player of the Day in Under-13 Girls was Aadya Baheti.
