Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have suffered a major setback as Shreyanka Patil has been ruled out of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 due to injury.
According to sources that all-rounder Sneh Rana has joined the RCB camp and has been with the team for the past few days. Rana, who was unsold in last year’s WPL auction after being released by Gujarat Giants, now gets a fresh opportunity.
Before the tournament, Shreyanka was seen in RCB’s promotional videos, but she didn’t feature in their opening match against Gujarat Giants (GG) on February 14 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
This raised doubts about her availability, which were later confirmed when she shared an emotional social media post, writing, “Heartbroken, but I will fly again.”
