A protester carrying a Palestinian flag was detained after disrupting Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, USA. During the show at Caesars Superdome on Sunday, the individual jumped onto a car that was part of Lamar’s set. Security quickly intervened and escorted the protester off the field, allowing the game to continue without delay.

According to Al Jazeera report, The New Orleans Police Department, in a statement quoted by the Associated Press, confirmed they are investigating the incident and determining possible charges.

Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson, along with artists Kendrick Lamar and SZA, was also on stage when the incident occurred. However, the production continued seamlessly, and the television broadcast quickly cut away from the protester, showing only a brief glimpse of the disruption in the background.
