Indian cricket Rinku Singh is all set to tie the knot with Machhlishahr MP Priya Saroj in couple of months time. The couple will exchange rings Today (Sunday, June 8) in a grand ceremony at a luxury hotel in Lucknow. Their wedding is planned for November 18 at the iconic Hotel Taj in Varanasi.
Earlier reports had indicated that both families met at Singh’s residence in Ozone City, Aligarh, where traditional ‘shagun’ and gifts were exchanged to finalize the match.

Priya Saroj, a rising political figure from Uttar Pradesh, hails from Karkhiyaon village in Varanasi. A member of the Samajwadi Party (SP), she made history last year by winning the Lok Sabha seat from Machhlishahr at just 25 years old. Her political journey began during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections when she gained attention while actively campaigning for her father.
Before stepping into politics, Priya was a practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court. She holds an arts degree from Delhi University and later earned her law degree from Amity University in Noida.
On the other hand 27-year-old Rinku Singh is a rising star of Indian cricket. Hailing from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku has made a mark in the IPL with his explosive batting for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In the 2025 IPL season, KKR retained him for Rs 13 crore. He has also been a part of India's T20 World Cup-winning team, although as a reserve player.
