Rinku Singh begins a new chapter off the field as he gets engaged to Member of Parliament Priya Saroj in a private ceremony held earlier today, June 8, at the luxurious Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. The intimate event saw close family, friends, and select guests from the world of politics and cricket in attendance, marking a star-studded celebration of the couple’s union.

Around 300 handpicked guests attended the ceremony, including big names from the world of politics and cricket. Expected attendees include Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Jaya Bachchan, BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla and other high-profile personalities.

Following the engagement, the couple's families will begin preparing for the grand wedding, scheduled for November 18 at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi. Traditional ceremonies will take place at their respective homes in the days leading up to the wedding. However, Rinku’s big day may see a few absences from the cricket fraternity, as it coincides with Team India’s Australia tour, possibly ruling out the presence of some close teammates.
