Australia's first-class cricketer Campbell Kellaway plucked a one-handed stunner during the Sheffield Shield clash against Western Australia at the WACA that took place between March 15 to March 18. With Cameron Gannon playing a hook shot off Will Sutherland to deep square leg, Kellaway leaped and stretched his hand full throttle to take the catch.

The incident occurred in the 75th over of the innings when Western Australia's score was 308/7 in pursuit of a stiff 382. With Western Australia still remotely in the hunt to chase down the target, Victoria found themselves under some pressure. With Victoria captain Sutherland delivering a short-pitched delivery, the ploy worked as Gannon holed out to deep square leg. The 22-year-old roared after taking one of the best catches of all time.

It left the commentators equally stunned as one of them described it as the 'catch of a lifetime'.

Western Australia lost by 34 runs eventually

Western Australia's valiant efforts to chase down 382 eventually went in vain as they fell 34 runs short, getting bowled out for 347. Although Hilton Cartwright (79) and Cooper Connolly (56) scored fifties, they didn't get any massive support from any other player. Joel Paris resisted with his fifty but Will Sutherland and Peter Siddle proved too strong, taking four scalps each.

Kellaway, who took a breathtaking catch, had scored a marathon 165 off 338 deliveries in Victoria's second innings to help them build on their 11-run lead.
