'Remember the name': Netizens heap praise on Rehan Ahmed as youngster becomes youngest to claim five wicket haul on debut
Rehan took the prized wicket of Babar Azam as he broke the crucial partnership between Saud Shakeel who he also dismissed

Rehan Ahmed became the youngest bowler 18years and 126days to take a 5-wicket-haul on debut in a men's Test. Rehan broke the record of now-Australian captain, right-arm fast-bowler Pat Cummins, who was 18 years and 193 days when he took 6-79 on his Test debut against South Africa in 2011.
Rehan recorded match figures of (7/137) . The last spinner to record better match figures on debut was Peter Such (8/145 v Aus in 1993).
After 41 overs of Pakistan's second innings, Rehan was finally introduced into the bowling attack and had an immediate effect by breaking the partnership between Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel, which put the hosts in control.
Pakistan folded like a pack of cards thereafter as the young spinner dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman and Mohammad Wasim to bring up his maiden five wicket haul on debut.
Pakistan were bowled out for 216 runs setting England a target of 167 runs. England in reply wasted no time and got off to the flier scoring 87 in 11 overs for the fall of the first wicket. The visitors ended the day at 112-2 55 runs from victory.
Netizens heaped praise on the youngster hailing him as the next big thing in English cricket .
