Much like India's men's team, the women's too lose to Pakistan. The Pakistan women's team seal a famous win. Despite a good start, India kept losing wickets at crucial intervals and never looked in the hunt. It is Pakistan's 1st win in six years over India.

After the end of the Powerplay, India are 30-2. Mandhana and Meghana got India to a brisk start but Pakistan managed to break the opening partnership and stall India's chase to a certain extent. The wicket of Jemimah came at a time when the Indian batters were looking to break free. Match is evenly poised

After 15 overs Pakistan are 107-3. Bismah Maroof and Nida Dar have resurrected the Pakistan innings with a counter-attacking 4th wicket partnership of 74. Indian bowlers appeared clueless as Dar did most of the hitting with Maroof complimenting her from the other end. If this duo continues for the next 5 overs, expect a score over 150
After 10 overs, 61-3. It is advantage India as they managed to bag three crucial wickets despite conceding runs aplenty. Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar provided crucial breakthroughs early on when the openers looked set for a big score

After 5 overs, Pakistan are 28-1. Its a mixed start for both team with the Pakistan openers starting well only to lose their way in the 5th over, while India will take it after breaking the opening partnership despite a poor start
