'Just Shows Where Your Head Is At': Paul Hughes Gives Hard-Hitting Response To Conor McGregor's X-Rated Deleted Tweet

Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter Paul Hughes struck back with a hard-hitting response to Conor McGregor, who insulted the former with an abusive tweet before deleting it after his closely-fought defeat to Russia's Usman Nurmagomedov. With Hughes disliking McGregor for targeting his Irish identity, the 27-year-old wrote on X how he has respected the former on almost every occasion.
McGregor, who is currently inactive as far as wrestling in the octagon goes, wrote an X-rated rant on X which read by reacting to Hughes wearing the Irish flag
"Get that flag off you you little know what you are c*nt from up there."
Hughes, meanwhile, wrote in response to the deleted tweet:
"@TheNotoriousMMA always said u were the goat, payed homage at every opportunity. But coming at my Irish identity just shows where your head is at."
Hughes was born in Sydney, Australia but moved to Northern Ireland and fights from that region.

Following his close win over Hughes, Nurmagomedov admitted felt he underestimated the youngster and revealed to have felt plenty of pain on his body.
"You are the man, Paul Hughes. You are the man. You're tough. I underestimated this guy, which was my little mistake. His wrestling defence and takedown defence was very good. He is tough and strong. I didn't think he would be that strong, but he was really strong. I have never taken damage like I did in this fight. I have a lot of pain on my body," the Russian said, as quoted by Sportsbible.
