Rishabh Pant, captain of Lucknow Super Giants, playfully bantered with Axar Patel, captain of Delhi Capitals, during the toss before their IPL 2025 match. In a lighthearted moment, Pant enthusiastically tossed the coin in an unusual way, which ultimately favored the visiting team, Delhi Capitals.
At the toss, presenter Deep Dasgupta welcomed the captains, Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel, along with the match officials. Before the toss, Pant jokingly told Axar Patel that he would throw the coin high in the air. True to his word, Pant jumped and tossed the coin with great enthusiasm, sending it soaring upwards.
Axar Patel called tails and won the toss. After his win, Axar opted to bowl first, enthusiastically saying "bowling, bowling." Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant playfully tried to confuse him by saying "batting, batting," bringing smiles to everyone's faces with his cheeky remark.
