UFC fighter Paulo Costa recently called out fellow middleweight star Khamzat Chimaev after winning his fight at UFC 318. Costa claimed that Chimaev had sent inappropriate messages to his girlfriend, telling her to “find a better man.” Costa was very angry and called Chimaev a coward in his post-fight interview.
“He’s a big a******, and my wife is over here, he DMed her. This is not good, this is a bad thing. But he never sent them to me, because he’s a coward. Chimaev, I’m going to show you why you’re a coward. I am here, I’m going to look for you, chase you, and I will not stop until I get you!" Costa said after beating Roman Kopylov.

This isn’t the first time the two fighters have had issues. They were supposed to fight at UFC 294, but Costa pulled out due to an elbow infection. Their rivalry has grown more personal since then.
In response, Chimaev posted on X (formerly Twitter), joking, “It was she who wrote to me habibi,” followed by laughing emojis. Chimaev didn’t take the accusation seriously and seemed to dismiss it as a joke. He is currently preparing for a title fight at UFC 319 against Dricus du Plessis, which is scheduled for August 17.

UFC 318: Rapper Lil Wayne To Walk Out With Dustin Poirier For His BMF Title Fight Against Max Holloway; Video
UFC star Dustin Poirier is set to fight his final MMA match at UFC 318 in New Orleans on July 19, and he’s making it special by walking to the Octagon with famous rapper Lil Wayne by his side. Both Poirier and Wayne are from Louisiana, making it a proud moment for their home state.
Poirier said his walkout will be a mix of two songs: James Brown’s “The Boss” and a Lil Wayne track. He used Lil Wayne’s music when he first entered the UFC, and now he’ll finish his career with the rapper walking beside him.
This last fight will be against Max Holloway for the BMF (Baddest Motherf***** Title.) Poirier and Holloway have fought before; both times Poirier won. The winner of this third and final match will take home the belt.
Poirier has had a long career in the UFC, fighting some of the best names in the sport. While he never became undisputed champion, he won the interim title and has always been a fan favorite for his heart and fighting spirit.
As he prepares to say goodbye, Poirier wants this last fight to be a memorable one for himself, for his fans, and for Louisiana. With Lil Wayne by his side, it promises to be an emotional and unforgettable night.
