Team India's opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a befitting reply to Australian opener Sam Konstas on day five of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). With Konstas seemingly trying to distract the left-hander when he was on the crease, the opener told him, 'Do your job'.

With Aussie captain Pat Cummins placing Konstas at silly point with a helmet on, the 19-year-old seemed to continuously chirp as it distracted Jaiswal. With the 22-year-old not able to keep his calm due to that, he had a fiery exchange with Konstas.

Below is the video of the same shared by Star Sports on social media:

Yashasvi Jaiswal fell to Pat Cummins following a contentious decision by the third umpire

Meanwhile, the left-hander missed out on a well-deserved century for the second time in the game, perishing for 84 following a controversial caught-behind decision.

The dismissal occurred in the 71st over of the innings sent by the Australian captain Pat Cummins, who delivered a bouncer down the leg-side. The left-hander aimed for the swivel pull but missed it as keeper Alex Carey took it behind the stumps, claiming there was an edge, prompting Cummins to take the DRS. While replays showed deflection when the ball was close to the glove, snicko showed nothing. However, the third umpire ruled it out. As a result, Jaiswal had to walk back for 84.

It was in the post-tea session that the hosts turned the game around as the Test seemed to be heading for a draw. However, Pat Cummins and co. sparked a collapse by picking up the remaining seven wickets to take a 2-1 series lead.
