With Team India banning fans from attending their net and practice sessions for the remaining series in the five-Test rubber in Australia, an old video of Rohit Sharma abusing the fans has gone viral. The video dates back to India's tour of Australia in 2011 as Rohit and Praveen Kumar were angry at the fans distracting them continuously.

A report from the Sydney Morning Herald claimed that Team India had banned fans from being present during their practice sessions moving forward due to insensitive comments. The visiting team held their practice sessions behind closed doors before the opening Test in Perth and are expected to follow that practice moving forward.

Meanwhile, below is the old video of Rohit and Praveen abusing an Indian fan for creating trouble during the practice session. The viral video also saw Rohit warning the fan that he will hit him with the bat if he creates more trouble.

Rohit Sharma's batting position under discussion ahead of Adelaide Test

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old's batting position remains up for discussion as he returns for the second Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval, beginning on December 6. With the right-hander rendering himself unavailable due to paternity leave for the opening Test in Perth, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul did a sensational job as openers, especially in the second innings, stitching a 200-run partnership.

The visitors are likely to stick with it for the day-night Test, especially as Rohit didn't come good in the two-day warm-up match with the pink ball in Canberra, managing only three runs. With Jasprit Bumrah at the helm, India thumped Australia by 295 runs to take a 1-0 lead.
