Champions Trophy 2025: What Is The Deadline Set For India To Submit Final Squad?

The Champions Trophy 2025 is set to played in Pakistan in February which excludes India as they will be playing their matches in Dubai after BCCI decided against sending the team to Pakistan. However before the tournament gets underway teams are yet to finalise their squad. Only England has so far submitted their squad for the Champions Trophy but what is the last date for teams to submit their squad lists for the Champions Trophy 2025?

There is already a clear instruction from the ICC that all participating teams need to submit their provisional squad list by Sunday, January 12. So far, England has announced their Champions Trophy squad, while fans are eagerly waiting for other teams to reveal their squads soon.

When will India announce squad for Champions Trophy?

Ahead of the Champions Trophy, India is set to play a lot of limited-overs games, from 5 T20Is to 3 ODIs. We can expect the BCCI to name the squad for England series as well as CT 2025 before January 12. It will be interesting to see who makes the cut.

About Champions Trophy 2025

The tournament is set to begin on 19 February in Karachi with the final on 9 March. The eight-team tournament will feature 15 matches, and will be played across Pakistan and in Dubai. In Pakistan, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi will be the three venues to host tournament play.

Each Pakistan venue will feature three group games apiece, with Lahore hosting the second semi-final. Lahore will also host the final on 9 March, unless India qualify, in which case it will be played in Dubai. Both the semi-finals and the final will have reserve days. The three group matches involving India, as well as the first semi-final, will be played in Dubai.
