DY Patil Red captain Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar starred as they beat CAG by four wickets in the first semi-final of the 19th DY Patil T20 Cup at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul on Wednesday.
In the other semi-final Income Tax beat Route Mobile by 25 runs at the University Ground to make it to the final.
At the Stadium, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2-20) and Pandya (1-20) starred as DY Patil Red shot down CAG for 90. In the chase Pandya played a captain’s knock as he made an unbeaten 35 and in the company of Abdul Samad (33) led Red to a four-wicket win over CAG.

In the other game Income Tax made 205 for six in their 20 overs against Route Mobile. In their response Route Mobile, despite valiant knocks by Mayank Agarwal (57) and skipper Shams Mulani (40) fell short of the target.
The final will now be played between DY Patil Red and Income Tax at the DY Patil Stadium later on Wednesday evening.
