Watch: MSRTC Driver Caught On Video Chewing Gutkha And Spitting On Satara-Pune Bus, Using Phone, Not Wearing Seatbelt

A video has surfaced showing a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus driver chewing gutkha and spitting out of the window repeatedly while driving. The incident reportedly took place on a Satara to Pune bus.

The man who recorded the video also pointed out that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. Instead, the seatbelt was tied behind the seat to give a false impression of being used.

He was also seen using mobile phone in the bus while he was driving.

The incident took place on July 13 in the afternoon hours.

"Driver repeatedly ate Guthka and spat out of the window. He is not wearing seat belt either, seat belt is tied behind the seat. Kindly take note, our lives are not worth 200₹," he wrote.

Passengers have raised concerns over the careless behavior of the driver, which could have put lives at risk. They have demanded strict action from MSRTC officials.

MSRTC has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
