Pune Accident Video: Woman Injured After Being Hit By Auto Rickshaw In Gokhale Nagar

A woman pedestrian has suffered injuries after being hit by an autorickshaw in Pune's Gokhale Nagar. The CCTV footage of this incident has gone viral on social media.

As seen in the video, a woman pedestrian, carrying an umbrella due to the rain, is seen walking on a road in Gokhale Nagar. Within seconds, an autorickshaw comes and hits the woman, giving her no time to react and move. The woman falls to the ground after the impact. The auto driver rushes to check on the woman and picks her up.

Meanwhile, details such as the date and time of the accident haven't come to the fore yet.

In another incident, a female engineer died in a road mishap in the Baner area in the early hours of Thursday. She had come to Pune from Thane in search of a job. She went to a hotel in the Baner area with her friend for dinner on Wednesday to celebrate her birthday, returning from which the duo met with an accident. They were returning on a two-wheeler via Jupiter Hospital Road in Baner when a speeding dumper knocked them down around 12:30 am on Thursday.
