Nashik Video: Landslide At Kasara Ghat Disrupts Traffic; Prompt Police Action Restores Flow

A landslide occurred at New Kasara Ghat on the Nashik-Mumbai Highway around 8 am on Tuesday. The incident took place due to heavy rains during the night. Traffic on this route was disrupted for some time due to the landslide.

After the incident, the staff of Highway Police Station, Ghoti, took immediate action and manually removed the fallen soil and stones. Due to their efforts, traffic was restored within a short time. No loss of life or damage to vehicles has been reported in this incident.

The administration has appealed to citizens to be careful while traveling through Kasara Ghat during the monsoon season. Also, instructions have been given to take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from happening again due to rain.
