Nashik Police Issues Traffic Restrictions In Ramkund Area For Mahashivratri | nashik.gov.in
In view of the large crowd of devotees on Mahashivratri, traffic restrictions have been imposed in the Kapaleshwar Mahadev Temple area near Ramkund. On Wednesday (February 26), vehicles will not be allowed to enter Ramkund from 5am to 12 midnight to ensure smooth movement of devotees.
A procession will be taken out on the route covering Kapaleshwar Mahadev Temple, Panchavati fountain, Dhikle library, Sardar Chowk and Kalaram temple. To prevent traffic congestion, all types of vehicles, including handcarts, bullock carts, bicycles, motorbikes and cars, will be prohibited in the area. Authorities have requested citizens to cooperate and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
Traffic will remain closed throughout the day on the following routes:
1. Dhikle Public Library to Kapaleshwar Temple
2. Malegaon Stand to Kapaleshwar Temple
3. Sardar Chowk to Kapaleshwar Temple
4. Gadge Maharaj Bridge to Kapaleshwar Temple
5. Maharashtra Iron Works to Khandve Hall
6. Malviya Chowk to Khandve Hall
