Coinex Pune, hosted by the International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items (ICSRI), returns this year to captivate Punekars with an extraordinary collection of rare coins made from a variety of metals.
Held at Sonal Hall on Karve Road, the exhibition will take place from Friday, December 27 to Sunday, December 29, between 10am and 7pm.
Celebrating its 29th year, Coinex Pune showcases a fascinating array of ancient currencies, with a special focus on coins from the Mughal and Maratha periods, among others. The exhibition offers Pune residents a unique opportunity to explore these rare collections, with collectors from across India also attending.

Attendees can not only admire the historical treasures but also buy and sell rare coins. Numismatic experts will be available to help identify coins, providing information about their value, origin, history and unique features, including inscriptions, images and impressions.
Maratha historian Appa Parab emphasised that rare coins are more than just metallic objects; they are symbols of our culture and history. "The study and preservation of coins is crucial to protecting our country, religion and culture," he said.
