Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) Director (Human Resources) Rajendra Pawar urged technical staff to accord the highest priority to safety while performing their daily tasks and ensure that electrical accidents do not occur under any circumstances.
He was speaking on the occasion of the distribution of safety equipment to ‘Janmitras’ from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city and rural divisions. Chief Engineer Deepak Kumthekar and Superintending Engineers Manish Thackeray, Gorakshanath Sapkale and Mahesh Pawar were prominently present at the event.

Pawar said that the life of every technical employee is valuable. An accident causes immense loss not only to the employee but also to their family; therefore, every employee must strictly use safety gear while on duty. To facilitate this, the organisation has procured and supplied high-quality safety equipment to all technical employees at the central level. He urged them to utilise this equipment and remain committed to providing uninterrupted, high-quality power supply to consumers.
Officers and staff present at the meeting included Assistant General Managers Shilpa Kabra and Shankar Kulkarni; Deputy Chief Industrial Relations Officer Madhusudan Marathe; Deputy Chief Public Relations Officer Nishikant Raut; Executive Engineers Girish Gaikwad, Prerana Bankar, Prasad Mahatole, Mahendra Deshmukh, Avinash Raut, Ramesh Waghchaure, Vinay Ghanbahadur and Ashok Jadhav; Senior Manager Swati Chavan-Gadekar; Managers Sanjay Khade and Bapu Shinde; and Deputy Managers Bhagwan Jare, Tushar Bhosale, Jayant Diwan, Ganesh Dange and Prakash Jagtap.
Manager Dr Shivaji Tikande anchored the event. Ashwini Potalwad introduced the speakers, while PRO Dnyaneshwar Ardad proposed the vote of thanks.
