Caught on Camera: Woman Thief Walks Into Pune Home, Walks Out With Cash And Mobiles

In a shocking incident, a woman entered a house in Karvenagar, Pune, and stole mobile phones and cash before fleeing.

Interestingly, she was caught on CCTV. Murali Angre has lodged a complaint with the police regarding the incident.

According to the information received, the incident took place on June 15 at around 6:30 AM. While the complainant had stepped out for business, mobile phones belonging to some visiting guests were stolen from their home in Dudhane Heights, Karvenagar, Pune.

Family slept without locking door

The complainant runs a dairy and hotel business right below his house. Some guests had visited them, and during the early morning hours, the family had gone to sleep without locking the door — an opportunity the thief took advantage of.

Later, when the complainant tried calling his wife on her phone as she was out for work, her phone was found switched off. He searched the house but couldn’t find the phone, nor could he find the guests’ phones. Realizing the phones had been stolen, he rushed to the police station.

An FIR has been registered against an unidentified person at Warje Police Station under relevant sections.
