Mumbai: 4-Hour Night Block Between Vasai Road And Virar During Midnight Of July 6-7 For Maintenance Work; No Day Block This Sunday On Western Railway
During the block period, scheduled on the intervening night of July 6-7 between 00.15 hrs to 04.15 hrs, all slow line suburban trains will be operated on fast lines between Vasai Road and Virar station.

Mumbai: A 4-hour jumbo block will be held on UP and DOWN slow line between Vasai Road and Virar station on the intervening night of July 6-7 to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, said a release issued by Western Railway. The timing of the block will be from 00.15 hrs to 04.15 hrs during the intervening night of July 6-7, between Vasai Road and Virar station.
As the maintainence work will be carried out in the night, there will be no block in the day time over Western Railway suburban section on Sunday (July 7).
According to a press release issued by Vineet Abhishek – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all slow lines suburban trains will be operated on fast lines between Vasai Road and Virar station.
Also, some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block. Detailed information to this effect has been made available with the concerned Station Masters.
