Thane: A three-year-old boy tragically drowned after falling into a water tank at a society on Ghodbunder Road in Thane. The incident occurred while the child was playing in the premises after visiting a relative's house with his mother, reported news agency PTI.
According to police, the boy slipped into the tank and drowned. His family, unable to find him, began a frantic search and eventually discovered him in the tank.
They rushed him to a hospital, but he was declared dead. The body was sent for a post-mortem, and a case of accidental death has been filed, as reported by the Kasarwadavali police, reported PTI.

Rajasthan: A three-year-old girl named Chetna tragically died after falling into a borewell while playing in Kotputli village, Rajasthan. Upon hearing her cries for help, her family alerted the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), who began a rescue operation. Despite five unsuccessful attempts, Chetna was finally rescued after 10 days. After taking her to the hospital, doctors declared her dead.
Chetna had become trapped in a 700-feet deep borewell in Badiyali ki Dhani, located in the Kiratpura village of Kotputli. She fell in while playing on December 23, and within 10 minutes, her parents heard her cries and discovered she was stuck in the borewell.
