Thane Shocker! Female Fetus Found Dumped Inside Garbage In Bhiwandi; FIR Registered

A female fetus was recovered from a garbage dump in the Bharodi Village area of Bhiwandi on Sunday morning. The incident came to light when a passerby spotted the fetus lying amidst the trash. The other side of the garbage pile was ablaze, prompting the passerby to alert the police.

Teams from the Narpoli police station reached the scene and sent the fetus for post-mortem examination at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital. A complaint was filed by Pyarelal Patil, following which an FIR was registered against unknown persons under Section 94 (Concealment of birth by secret disposal of a dead body) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

According to the police, they are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area in an effort to identify the person(s) who abandoned the fetus. A police team has also been formed to question local residents. Further investigation is currently underway.
