Ulhasnagar: A shocking incident has come to light from Ulhasnagar Camp No. 5, near Mumbai. A schoolgirl, who was attacked by a pack of aggressive stray dogs narrowly escaped the attack.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced. The video shows around five to six dogs chasing the minor girl, who is carrying a school bag on her back. A bystander is then seen guiding the terrified girl into a nearby shop for safety. Shortly after, another man is seen scaring the dogs away using a plastic bottle, prompting them to flee the area.
The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday (30-07-2025). According to locals, there is an Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation school nearby, where children from underprivileged background come to study. However, the presence of aggressive stray dogs in the area has become a constant threat to these students.
Residents also claim that such incidents have instilled fear among schoolchildren, and they are demanding immediate action from the municipal authorities to ensure safety in the area by addressing the stray dog menace.
