Shiv Sena UBT Holds Massive Protest At Mumbai's Shivaji Park Over Corruption Allegations Against Mahayuti Ministers

Shiv Sena (UBT) held a large-scale protest at Shivaji Park in Dadar on Monday, targeting the Mahayuti government over corruption allegations involving its ministers. A sizable crowd of Uddhav Thackeray’s supporters assembled near the park, chanting slogans and demanding the removal of what they described as "tainted and corrupt" ministers.

Videos posted on the party's official social media accounts showed demonstrators carrying mock bundles of cash and bags, symbolising the alleged corruption linked to Mahayuti ministers. In a post on X, the party stated, “The Mahayuti government’s tainted and corrupt ministers must be sacked! | Maharashtra Jan Aakrosh Andolan.”

The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction had earlier declared plans for state-wide demonstrations on Monday, accusing the previous Eknath Shinde-led government of widespread corruption. Protests kicked off at noon outside all district collector offices across the state. Thackeray himself led the central protest at Shivaji Park, joined by senior party leaders. Additionally, protests were also held at several government offices throughout Mumbai.
