Thane: Massive Fire Breaks Out At Bombay Duck Hotel, Stray Cat Dies; Property Damaged, Cause Unknown

A cat died after suffocating when a fire broke out at a hotel in Thane on Monday morning. The incident occurred at Bombay Duck Hotel, located in Upvan, Thane, at 6:15.am.
The Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) received a call about the fire and dispatched a pickup truck, two fire engines, a water tanker, and a rescue vehicle to the spot. The fire was brought under control within an hour.
Yasin Tadvi, the chief of the RDMC, said, "We received information about the fire and sent a team to the spot. After extinguishing the fire, they found a stray cat that had died due to smoke inhalation."
Tadvi further added that one air conditioning unit, a television, a computer, a refrigerator, and all electric wires were destroyed in the flames. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
