Thane: 24-Year-Old Man Killed After Being Hit By Express Train While Crossing Tracks At Ambernath Railway Station
The deceased has been identified as Soeb Saheed Ali, 24, originally from West Bengal. He, along with his friends, had come to Mumbai for vacation. He was temporarily residing in the Forest Naka area of Ambernath.

A 24-year-old man died after being hit by an express train on the Ambernath railway station track while he was crossing the track on Tuesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Soeb Saheed Ali, 24, originally from West Bengal. He, along with his friends, had come to Mumbai for vacation. He was temporarily residing in the Forest Naka area of Ambernath.
The incident took place near Ambernath railway station on Tuesday evening when he, along with friends, was crossing the track and the Koyna Express hit him from the opposite side, resulting in him collapsing near the track with severe injuries to his body. The GRP official said that his friend and a bystander alerted the police about it. Subsequently, he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.

Sachin Dalvi, a police constable from Kalyan GRP, said, "The body was handed over to his brother, who resides here and works as a laborer in the city, for final rites after performing the post-mortem. The body was taken to his native place for final rites. So far, an Accidental Death Report has been filed."
