A special values-based camp titled “Paisa: Aashirwad ya Abhishaap” (Money: Blessing or Curse) was organized at Gujarat Bhavan, Vashi, under the joint auspices of Matushri Dariyavbai Manoharlal Kothari and Pushpa Himmat Kothari.
The event, part of the Jain Ajain initiative, saw a large turnout of attendees from across the community.

The key address was delivered by Jainacharya Shri Yashovarm Surishwarji Maharaj, who emphasized the importance of not just wealth itself, but the ethical path through which it is earned. “Money can either be a blessing or a curse, depending on how it is acquired,” he said. “If earned through honesty, hard work, and righteous means, wealth becomes a source of progress, social good, and spiritual upliftment. However, money obtained through dishonest or immoral means can bring suffering, manifesting as illness, misfortune, or disharmony within families and society.”
