Thane: A daily commuter has brought attention to the heavy traffic congestion between Anand Nagar and Manpada in Thane. In a recent post on social media platform X, user @vaidya1999 highlighted the severe traffic situation that commuters face every day on this stretch on Wednesday.
The user pointed out that the route experiences heavy traffic daily and emphasised the absence of traffic police and traffic signals, which worsens the situation. Sharing photos and videos of the congested road, the commuter showed vehicles stuck in traffic, including buses and heavy trucks halted mid-route.

In the post, the commuter urged authorities to take action, stating, “If staff can't be deployed, install proper signals for safety.” The visuals shared depict the chaotic conditions and the urgent need for traffic regulation. Responding to the post, the Thane City Police acknowledged the concern and replied, “Thank you for contacting Thane City Police. Your information has been passed on to the Traffic Control Room, Thane, for necessary action.”
