Navi Mumbai News: MNS To Host Annual 'Practice Dahi Handi' In Nerul On August 10

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) will be conducting the annual Practice (Chor) Dahi Handi celebration in Nerul

The event is set to take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Warana Chowk, Sector-2.

Organised by MNS Navi Mumbai City Joint Secretary Abhijeet Desai and Anushka Abhijeet Desai, the event promises to be a lively pre-Janmashtami highlight.

MNS leader and MNS Student Sena President Amit Thackeray will attend as chief guest, alongwith MNS leader and MLA Raju Patil, and MNS spokesperson and City President Gajanan Kale.

According to Abhijeet Desai, over 100 Dahi Handi teams will take part, creating towering human pyramids in tribute to the festive tradition. The organisers have invited Navi Mumbai residents to attend with their families and be part of the celebrations.
